CONTAINER INSPECTIONS & CERTIFICATIONS

CONTAINER MAINTENANCE & REPAIR (M&R)

CONTAINER MODIFICATIONS

Services include neutralization (when applicable), container survey and Cargo Worthy Certificate, which are all usually required by the Shipping Line. Pro Box also offers “in-service” repairs and re-certification of existing shipper-owned containers to it “shipper” customers. Mobile repair service is also made available to its customers.

We repair containers to these standards:

1. Wind and Water Tight (storage grade)
2. Cargo Worthy (shipping and export grade)
3. IICL (International Institute of Container Lessors –       superior grade)
4. Back to “New” (repair damaged “one-trip” container     back to “new”)

We can cut out, frame and install windows and doors or other openings (i.e., for A/C unit, vents, intake and exhaust hoses etc.) at your request. We can add lighting, electrical, a circuit breaker box and external power hookups. We can add insulation, work benches, shelving, etc. We can also paint the exterior and/or interior with basic colors or to any specific RAL color code you provide – perfect to represent your company color.

We can also create openings to accommodate “container structures”, where multiple containers may be stacked or configured into a building or structure.

Note: All modification work is done per customer specifications, drawings, or designs.

DEPOT SERVICE LOADING

We will load the container onto your truck/trailer, flatbed, chassis, stakebed, lowboy, or stepdeck.

STORAGE CONTAINER DELIVERY (ONE WAY DROP) – TILT-BED

From our Houston depot – We can drop onto personal (non-residential) or business property that does not have a crane or “lift-off” capability, by sending the container on “roll back” or “tilt-bed” trailer. Delivery is available on a one way empty drop basis to Houston, southeast Texas and southern Louisiana.

SHIPPING CONTAINER DELIVERY (ONE WAY DROP) – FLATBED

Nationwide – We can drop any shipper’s facility that HAS “lift-off” capability or a crane on site, by sending the container on a flatbed trailer. We can also arrange a more economical “one way back haul” on a non-scheduled basis when you have flexible delivery dates.

Note: In the event the container movement involves live loading, drop and picks, or otherwise receiving of a loaded container, after delivering the empty, we recommend the logistics company remain in direct control of this type of move.
