Pro Box was established in 1994 in Houston, Texas. Its founder, Steve McVille, has a background in the steamship industry, which eventually included ocean container carriers. With his knowledge and expertise in the container industry, he decided to start a container sale company - a company that would specialize in cargo containers for the export industry.

Its staff is comprised of shipping industry professionals with extensive knowledge in shipping, transportation and container repair criteria.
